CyberKaiser has been replaced by Kaiser Permanente's new secure messaging system, E-mail your doctor.
E-mail your doctor is a new feature accessible from your physician's home page that provides secure messaging between adult patients and their physicians (primary care providers and any doctor you have seen in the last 13 months), and parents of children ages 12 and under and their physicians. It replaces CyberKaiser, our pilot secure messaging program. If you were previously using CyberKaiser to contact your or your child's physician, you can still access your archived exchanges from the CyberKaiser Archive.
To use E-mail your doctor, you will need to register at the KP Members web site, if you have not done so already. At the KP Members site, you can also order prescription refills, make appointments online, and have access to a wealth of educational health material, including Kaiser Permanente's online health programs. (The username and password for the KP Members site are not connected in any way to the username and password you used for CyberKaiser.)
To access E-mail your doctor, once you have successfully registered, click the
E-mail your doctor link on your physician's home page. If you are emailing your child's doctor, be sure to read About e-mail (also found on your physician's home page).
If you or your child do not yet have a primary care provider, you can choose one online, or call (510) 307-2426.
For questions regarding E-mail your doctor or anything on the KP Members web site, click the "Contact Web manager" link on that site, or you may call 1-800-556-7677, weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Have your medical record number handy.
